Some time around 1508, the Italian Renaissance painter Giorgione was overcome by the spectacular beauty of a Mornington Peninsula sunset. We don’t know how that’s possible either, but it must be true because he captured it in paint. Then the cheeky bugger named his artwork after our wine!
